8 Months!

I am now 32 weeks pregnant. I am officially done with this pregnancy. I do not want to be pregnant anymore. I was doing really well all up until I hit 30 weeks then everything just came at once. Tiredness, back pain, numbness in my hands and fingers, difficulty breathing, and extreme swelling. I have gained a total of 35 lbs so far. At my last appointment everything looked perfect. Her heartbeat was a strong 160 BPM and my belly measured right at 31 cm. Right on target....even though I look huge I'm right where I should be. The doctor also told me to be prepared to deliver around the end of September instead of October. She said that typically you deliver your second around the same time as your first (I was 3 weeks early with Jakobe) and she also said that since my torso is so small the baby will basically run out of room to grow and will have no where else to go but out. I was super excited when she told me this. I am so ready, David is so ready.....Jakobe on the other hand....has no idea what is about to happen! Oh and Jakobe can stand under my belly and I can't see him. That's how big my belly is!

She'll be putting on weight rapidly from now until she is born. We can't WAIT for her to be here and meet her big brother! She's showing us her feet....I need some heels! She's going to be a shoe person just like her daddy
Yup, she's still a girl! Thank goodness!
Here is a short video of the ultrasound. She likes to show off her feet.

7 Months!

I am now 28 weeks pregnant. I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going. I feel wonderful. I feel her move ALL the time. She is so active. Way more active than Jakobe ever was in my belly. Her movements are painful at times. Especially when she flips over. It really hurts. I still love feeling her move and kick. I have gained 5 pounds since last month. Putting me at a total weight gain of 21 pounds so far. Her heartbeat was 150 bpm. I had the glucola test to test for gestational diabetes....I passed! The doctor measured my belly and it measured right on track at 28 cm. I am still eating lots and lots of Strawberries and Snickers Blizzards. My belly button has also popped out already. I am now down to doctor's appointments every two weeks. I have a 28 week ultrasound this Wednesday. It's my birthday present from my husband. I can't wait to see Callie and see how much she has grown since her last ultrasound at 20 weeks.

6 months!

Holy Belly! Where did that thing come from? I am now 24 weeks pregnant. My belly has definitely popped. I have now gained a total of 16 pounds. Wow! I feel her move all the time. I have figured her schedule out. She wakes up around 9:30...then again after lunch.....then around 5:00 and again when I lay down to go to bed. It is so much fun to feel her move and kick although some kicks are starting to be a little painful. With her just being a little under 2 lbs she still has some weight to put on though which means harder and stronger kicks from her in the future. I am still craving Strawberries and now Snickers. I have to say that I feel absolutely great! I have been having a little back pain sometimes when I lay down at night if I've been on my feet a lot that day and my feet seem to be swelling. Some days better than others but overall I feel absolutely great! My belly button has half way popped out and Jakobe likes to try to push it in. He also likes to pound on my belly. Which does hurt. He just doesn't get it quite yet. He will soon, hopefully. My next appt. is July 22nd and I have to drink the nasty Glucola drink to test for gestational diabetes.

5 Months!

I am now 20 weeks pregnant. It's hard to believe. This pregnancy is going so fast! It helps that I feel fantastic! Like I said before, this pregnancy has been completely different than my first pregnancy. Thank god! :) I have gained a total of 6 pounds now. My belly is huge! I'm definitely a lot bigger this time around. The fun thing is that I feel her move and kick me a lot. Not so much during the day but when I go to lay down at night I feel her moving all over. I am able to place my hand on my stomach and feel her kick now. It's very exciting! Oh and I'm now craving Strawberries! Something healthy for once! We got her crib and dresser ordered yesterday and it will be here in July! My next doctor's appt is June 24th.

20 Week Ultrasound!

This was my 'gender' ultrasound at my doctor's office. We couldn't wait until 20 weeks to find out the sex so we went back to Prenatal Vision at 15 weeks to have a gender ultrasound done which is out of pocket but SO worth it! I must say that she is STILL a girl....thank goodness! She looks great and everything is right on track. She weighs 10 oz. Her heartbeat was 151. I'm measuring right at 20 weeks.

18 Week Ultrasound

I had an ultrasound today....just for fun. I'm addicted to them. I was when I was pregnant with Jakobe too. Callie looks great! I'm measuring right at 18 weeks. She weighs 7 oz and is 8 inches long. Her heartbeat was a steady 158 bmp. I can't wait to see her again in another 2 weeks!

She's giving us the thumbs up!

4 Months!

I am now 16 weeks pregnant. I feel FANTASTIC!!! I haven't felt this great since before I was pregnant. I have absolutely no more sickness and no tiredness. I feel great! I can feel her move quite often which is fun. My cravings have been pickles, Twizzlers, Twix Bars, and Turkey Bacon. I feel and look better than I have in a long time. I'm actually enjoying pregnancy this time around! My next doctor's appt. is on May 28th.

15 Week Ultrasound

We went to get an ultrasound to tell the sex of the baby on Friday, April 24th. I was 15 weeks pregnant. The technician warned me that it might be too early to be able to detect the sex of the baby. She said she has never told a customer this early and didn't want me to be disappointed. She began the ultrasound. Checked the baby's organs, bones, and counted 10 fingers and 10 toes. Everything looked great. Baby's heartbeat was 154. Baby weighed in at 4 oz. She said my fluid level looked great which was making it easy for her to see the baby. Then all of a sudden the legs spread. 1,2,3 little lines. I shouted, ''IT'S A GIRL!" David said, "What?" I said, "It's a girl....look at the 3 lines." I began to get tears in my eyes. I was so excited. I couldn't believe we were going to get a little girl. I really, really, really wanted a girl. This is our last baby we are having so it was this one or never. Throughout the rest of the ultrasound she kept giving us the shot. We got about 5 good girl shots. David said to the technician, "So is it safe to tell people we are having a girl?" She said, "Oh yeah, it's definitely a girl." I have been on cloud 9 ever since!!!

In this video of the ultrasound, you can see her swallowing. It's really neat. Watch her mouth.

IT'S A..................

GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!

The 3 lines in this picture that the arrow is pointing to show it's a girl!

These are the cupcakes my mom made for me to bring to work to share the exciting news that we were having a baby girl! Thanks mom!

David and I are so excited that we are going to get our little girl!!! Jakobe is going to have a little sister! A boy and a girl, how perfect. We have decided on the name Callie Jane Sitrick for our little girl.
